We’ve been obsessed with coffee gear since 1999. So yes, we were into specialty coffee before it was cool.
Espresso Gear started in Sweden when Lars Wallin designed his first tamper as a hobby. People liked it. Then they wanted to buy it. And just like that, a hobby turned into a company — and Espresso Gear was born.
Since then, we’ve spent more than 25 years designing and developing clever, good-looking and genuinely useful tools for baristas and coffee lovers around the world.
Our philosophy is pretty simple: good coffee deserves good gear.
Today, Espresso Gear is based just outside Gothenburg on Sweden’s west coast. From here, our small team designs our own products and works with some of our favourite coffee brands from around the world. We supply cafés, roasters, retailers and distributors across the Nordics, Europe and beyond — as well as plenty of home baristas who take their morning coffee very seriously.
We like products that solve problems, feel great to use and look good while doing it. No unnecessary fuss. Just thoughtful design, solid quality and, whenever possible, a little bit of fun.
We’re still a small company, which means there are real people behind the emails, orders and boxes leaving our warehouse. We care about doing what we say we’ll do, looking after our customers and constantly finding new gear we’re excited to share.
