Timemore Basic 3 Coffee Scale
Smaller, faster, and more refined. The Timemore Basic 3 builds on a proven design and improves it where it matters, with a slimmer profile, lighter weight, and faster response. The compact format fits comfortably under most espresso machines, making it a practical choice for both espresso and manual brewing setups.
Weighing just 300 g and measuring 152 × 130 × 26 mm, the Basic 3 is easy to place, move, and store without getting in the way. The improved chip and internal structure make the scale more responsive and accurate, helping you work efficiently whether you're dialing in espresso or brewing pour-over.
High precision sensors provide accurate measurements from 0.1 g up to 2 kg, with a minimum starting weight of 0.5 g. This makes it suitable not only for coffee brewing, but also for general kitchen use such as baking, cooking, and measuring liquids.
Three brewing modes allow you to adapt the scale to your workflow:
Regular mode for general weighing
Pour-over mode with integrated timer and ratio tracking
Espresso mode for monitoring shot time and yield
The auto timer starts automatically when brewing begins, helping you stay consistent without extra steps.
The fast response time and instant tare function make day-to-day use smooth and efficient. The tare function quickly subtracts the weight of cups or containers, so you can focus on the coffee rather than the process.
Built from durable acrylic materials, the scale has a clean, low-profile design that fits naturally into any coffee setup. The surface is water-resistant and includes a removable silicone pad for heat insulation and protection. Care should be taken to avoid liquid entering the charging port.
A clear backlit LCD display shows measurements in grams, making it easy to read in all lighting conditions.
